No injuries reported after C-130 aircraft makes emergency landing at Rosecrans

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- No injuries were reported after a C-130 aircraft had to make an emergency landing at Rosecrans.

The landing occurred around 3 p.m.Tuesday afternoon. A total of eight passengers were on the aircraft, and all work for the 139th Airlift Wing.

Airport Manager Julius Rice cited hydraulic failure as the reason for the emergency landing; however, it is unknown what caused the failure.

Numerous law enforcement and safety officials were on scene to respond to the incident. A KQ2 reporter observed the St. Joseph Fire Department, St. Joseph Police Department, Buchanan County EMS and the U.S. Air Force, among others.
