East Hills Library to close temporarily for interior reorganization

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- The East Hills Library will be closed for three days to allow staff to reorganize the library for improved access.

The library, located at 502 N. Woodbine Road, will be closed Wednesday, Aug. 12, through Friday, Aug. 14.

Staff will reorganize the library to create additional seating, improve the layout of the collections and make materials easier for patrons to browse and navigate.

The temporary closure is part of an effort to enhance the overall library experience by creating a more welcoming and user-friendly space.

While East Hills Library is closed, all other library locations will remain open during their regular business hours.

Patrons who need assistance during the closure are encouraged to contact the Downtown Library at 816-232-7729.

East Hills will reopen for regular hours following the three-day closure on Saturday, Aug. 15.
