ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- Staff, faculty and students at Robidoux Elementary were released early on the first day of school due to a city water main break.

The break happened on Maxwell Road and caused a decrease in water pressure, which impacted restroom usage and drinking water.

According to the St. Joseph School District, water has been restored and Robidoux will be back in session Wednesday.
