1 killed in Downtown fire Wednesday morning

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) — One person was killed, and several others were injured in a Downtown St. Joseph fire Wednesday morning.

According to a St. Joseph Fire Department Facebook post, the fire happened around 6 a.m. Wednesday and one person was killed due to the fire.

SJFD said in the post that it was a multi-family complex and several people were taken to the hospital with various injuries.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
