Gillman City man seriously injured after running off Harrison County roadway

HARRISON COUNTY, Mo. (KQTV) -- A 34-year-old Gillman City, Missouri, man is seriously injured after running off a Harrison County roadway late Wednesday afternoon.

The man, driving a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado, was eastbound on 150th Avenue, just three miles south of New Hampton, Missouri.

The crash occurred as the driver failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and ran off the east side and overturned, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

The vehicle came to rest racing northeast on its top.

The man was wearing a seatbelt during the time of the crash and was transported by private vehicle to Harrison County Community Hospital.
