Rock Port girls hoops advance to the Class 1 State Quarterfinals after defeating North Andrew

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- In a rematch of a game that took place last year in the sectional round, the Rock Port Blue Jays defeat the North Andrew Cardinals, 55-20.

The Blue Jays were led by the Meyerkorth's in this one. Leah led the way with 21, Audrie had 15 and Ella finished with 11. On the Cardinal's side, they had one player finish with double-digits and that was Lillian Richardson, who had 11 on the evening.

The Blue Jays improve to 27-2 on the season, while the Cardinals finish the year at 9-20.

Rock Port now moves on to the Class 1 State Quarterfinals to face Gilman City on Friday at 6 p.m. at Gallatin High School.
