Tracking sunshine on Thursday

We continue to see clouds and fog across northeast Kansas and northwest Missouri but Thursday promises to bring some sunshine by the afternoon hours. The morning will start off on the cold side with temperatures in the upper 20's so you will need that jacket to start off the day. By the afternoon temperatures will start to rebound into the upper 50's and lower 60's with a mix of clouds and sunshine. The winds will be light and then start to pick up from the south as we head into the afternoon hours. As we head into Thursday evening skies will be partly cloudy but we will start to see a chance for showers and thunderstorms by the late night time frame.
