Victims identified, suspect charged in second Carroll County double homicide

CARROLL COUNTY, Mo. (KQTV) -- A suspect was arrested and charged for his alleged involvement in a second Carroll County, Missouri, double homicide and the victims have been identified.

Law enforcement arrested Kegan K. Kelly, 37, of Braymer, Missouri, for his alleged involvement in the shooting of 43-year-old Jason H. Kelly and 36-year-old Steven E. Stoll, both of Braymer, on Thursday, Aug. 27, in rural Carroll County.

Next of kin has been notified and autopsies are pending for both victims.

The Carroll County Prosecuting Attorney formally charged Kelly with two counts of first-degree murder. He is being held in the county jail without bond.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol's Division of Drug and Crime Control (DDCC) is still working to gather facts and follow up on additional investigative leads.
