Tracking thunderstorms on Tuesday

After a beautiful start to the week across northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas, the atmosphere will be come a little more active as we head into your Tuesday. The morning should start off on the quite side with a mixture of sunshine and clouds but the winds will quickly start to increase out of the south allowing temperatures to run up into the upper 70's and lower 80's.

By the mid to late afternoon storms may begin to develop across northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas as strong storms start to approach the area. The storms could be strong by the late afternoon hours so it will be something we need to watch.
