Tracking a cooler Wednesday

A quick weather change arrives Wednesday as a cold front moves through northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas. Showers and thunderstorms are possible as the front moves by and we might see some heavier rain early in the morning. By the afternoon the rain will move out and we will be stuck with the clouds and that means our afternoon highs will only reach into the upper 40's and lower 50's. The winds will be out of the north and that will make it feel even more cooler so make sure to grab that jacket.

Skies will start to clear out Wednesday night and temperatures will start to fall quickly into the lower 20's. Sunshine will return on Thursday and the temperatures will warm back up to the upper 50's and lower 60's.
