Tracking more Rain on Tuesday

Mike Bracciano KQ2

Tuesday will bring a noticeable change to the area as a more unsettled weather pattern moves into northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas.

We will start the day on the warm side and we will also see a increase in humidity. There will be a mixture of clouds and sunshine across the area. Temperatures should start to climb into the lower 80s, but that is cooler than what we saw on Monday.

The main story will be the increasing chance for showers and thunderstorms. Rain chances will build through the day, especially during the afternoon and evening hours. We have an 80% chance of showers and thunderstorms and some could produce some heavy rain, gusty winds and small hail so keep an eye to the weather forecast for the latest updates.
