Tracking weekend t-showers, mild air

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue to develop and track through Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas through the weekend, as a stalled front remains draped across the region. Cloud coverage and rain-cooled air will keep temperatures on the cooler side both Saturday and Sunday, with high temperatures in the mid 70s and 40% to 60% chances for showers and thunderstorms. Overnight lows will fall into the mid to low 60s with light northeast breezes. Sunshine and a rapid warm up is in store for Monday as highs are anticipated to rise to near 90 degrees ahead of more rain chances by Tuesday and into Wednesday of next week.
