Tracking isolated t-storms, hot and humid Monday

Partly cloudy skies and upper 70s Sunday afternoon will give way to a mild night with scattered t-storm chances developing after midnight as a warm front pushes into Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas. A warmer and more humid air mass will surge into the region Monday bringing highs in the upper 80s to low 90s with steady southerly winds at 15 to 25 mph. A mix of sunshine and clouds is also anticipated Monday, with a slight chance of isolated t-storms, mainly north of Highway 36. Rain and thunderstorm chances will increase Tuesday and Wednesday, as a cold front tracks through the Mid-Missouri River Valley.
